Easygoing 27-hole course with excellent facilities
Located in the foothills of nearby mountains, close to Hanoi airport, the Japanese-managed Hanoi Golf Club is a firm favourite of local golfers, drawn to its forgiving and meticulously maintained fairways and upscale facilities. Set on gently undulating terrain, the 27-hole course has an open feel, with wide fairways encouraging you to go for it off the tee, safe in the knowledge. that only the very worst shots will get truly punished.
Despite the course's reputation, there are still some tough holes. After a gentle par-4 opener, there's a run of three holes all requiring water carries. In the case of the second, both your tee shot and your approach must cross the lake, an early sign that this generally forgiving course still has teeth.
The second nine is easier, the shallow bunkers dotting the wide fairways the main threat, although there is one particularly tricky approach required at the 11th, a bunker-free par 4 whose green juts out into a lake. The third nine features a tough run of holes that play around five lakes, with both the 21st and 26th playing to island greens, while on the last hole a pair of bunkers front and back of the green place some pressure on your final approach.
As you would expect from a Japanese-owned course, the facilities are first class, with a fully-equipped locker room, jacuzzi, sauna, spa and pro shop. There's also an excellent restaurant serving local, Japanese and international cuisine.

The course has been well managed. The green is like Korea, so you're supposed to ask Caddie. There are no carts allowed on the course. Don't expect too much at pro-shop at the front desk because they have few products.Course Info
